Germany Commits €15 Million to Mauritania’s SME Financing Programme

On 4 November, Mauritania signed a €15 million grant agreement with Germany’s development bank KfW, equivalent to approximately MRU 675 million, to strengthen financing for small and medium-sized enterprises and support job creation. The programme may create demand for SME lending, financial advisory, investment planning and business support services.
